How Tsubasa might end

Eurekâ! I think I understand something about Tsubasa’s plot. Maybe others fans have though about it before too, but I just figured it out by careful reading of the last volumes of Tsubasa. I might be wrong, but I believe it would be a great explanation too. Hope you’ll have fun with this huge hypothetic spoiler ^^

♥ ♥ ♥ My second anniversary ♥ ♥ ♥

Yatta :D Today was my very second Live Journal birthday!!! Having a second anniversary makes me feel young again :p I hope we will all have more birthdays to celebrate, although Tsubasa and xxxHolic mangas are coming to an end ^^ Fortunately, there will be lots of other goodies even after the last chapter releases there to analyze (OADs/movies, artbooks, maybe even Omakes and Horitsuba!).

In retrospect, I am very proud of my new Sakura's café layout. After all, I am a real chibi fan ^^ For this third year of my journal, I'll try to post more regularly. Here is an outline of the ☆ future posts ☆ that I have in mind:

☆ Magic Circles Update: since many of you gave me valuable new info / pictures
☆ Hitsuzen: philosophical thoughts about determinism and randomness
☆ Work aholic: an exhaustive list of the obsessions of xxxHolic characters
☆ Wish shop: an exhaustive list of the wishes / prices
☆ Final summary of TRC
☆ And much more ^^

I feel lucky to have my Live Journal birthday on April 1st, the day on which many Clamp characters celebrate their own (Sakura, Kimihiro, TRC Shaoran). I don't remember if I have created my Live Journal on that special magic date on purpose. I think I created my journal without noticing it at first, but realized it just a few minutes after creating it. Yuuko or Clow would tell me: “There is no such thing as coincidence, there is only hitsuzen...”

My birthday is the perfect occasion to thank you all for reading my live journal, leaving your comments, sharing your thoughts, really, just thanks a lot, you are awesome!

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Huge thanks to Maggie yamisakura38 for answering many of my questions and greatly contributing to my theories :p

Many thanks to Amanda xamethyst_rosex who colored my cute chibi Sakura-and-Shaoran avatar ^^

Thank you very much Nyanko-san moko_ko_nyanko to have updated me on omakes and other stuff I forget at the moment :)

Nonetheless, thank you very very much Kinohakinoha (who is great to color Clamp drawings), Wandering Dreamr wanderingdreamr (who gave me lots of great remarkable insight), Cilysta cilysta, Giorgitsa-chan chocoshins, Mireimemireime, dragon_tearzkei_san77, cardcaptorkiki, hadeki, tsubame_17, clampkingdom, who contributed to my journal by giving me feedback and support. I'd like to thank you for sharing your thoughts ^^

Thank you Chibi Yuutochibiyuuto for posting so many hot news on your live journal and for answering my questions. Your journal was my inspiration when I created my own :D

And finally, thank you dear Kuro-puu, my dedicated invisible editor, aka Paul :D

Magic Circles

Hi all,

I am collecting data on the magic circles of CCS, Tsubasa and xxxHolic. Here is a summary of the information and best images I have collected thanks to you fans :D (although I don’t always remember who wrote what, sorry) I remember there used to be a thread about magic circles in an old forum, but unfortunatly, I did not save everything. If you have any more stuff (info or good pictures) to add, please do! I will probably just update this entry with your additional info. In particular, I am trying to find the translation for the symbols on CCS magic circle and the Yuuko’s circle.

As we all have noticed by now, Clamp uses duality and symmetry inside many of their stories, particularly in Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and xxxHolic. Sometimes, they deal with two almost indistinguishable entities (like Shaoran and his clone), some other times they deal with two total opposites (like Ceroberos and Yue).

But most of the time, two entities share both strong similarities and great oppositions at the same time. For instance, Maru and Moro are inseparable and often speak in unision, but the first wears devil wings and the latter angel wings: they complete one another and are part of a whole. Just like yin and yan, opposites balance out and cannot exist without the other.

The power to change the world

Hello dear Clamp fandom :D

You might have thought that I had dropped my journal since it has been a long time since my last post, but I will catch up from now on. It is true that I have been quite busy. At least I had time to change the look of my journal and also to find a new super cute avatar created by xamethyst_rosex. Her edited color pictures are great!

But the true reason for my apparent absence is that I time traveled (once more!) to this moment, when Tsubasa story gets even more interesting :D (I was way too curious to find out more about the story, so I could not wait to time travel to this point!) Therefore, in my viewpoint, only a few minutes have passed since my last post!!!

Thank you very much in advance for all your comments which encourage me greatly and help me to keep posting and finding new ideas :)

This is a chronological summary of TRC, i.e. the story as lived by the characters. My personal assumptions are in italics. It is lengthy, but I am usually quite concise, so I think it is worth it!

The one Fei Wong Reed wishes to revive

After re-reading some chapters, I think Xing Huo might be the person Fei Wong Reed wants so much to revive! I hear you say “But Fei Wong evilly killed her without any tiny trace of compassion, how can she be the one he wants to revive at any cost?!?” Let’s see how...

Sakura, the Container of Feather Memories - aka - Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle !!!

Hello dear Clamp fandom :D

I have not had the chance to post here for a long while so I have quite a lot of catching up to do! I must say that the successive endings of two great Tsubasa forums (www.tsubasachronicle.net/forums & http://tsubasaforum.1.forumsvibe.com) did not help. But the true reason for my apparent absence is that I time travelled to this moment, when Tsubasa story gets even more interesting :D Therefore, in my view point, only a few minutes have passed since my last post!!! Anyway, I am back for good with new ideas to write about. Thank you very much in advance for all your comments which encourage me greatly and help me to keep posting and finding new ideas :)

Today’s topic is about the mystical title “Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle”. At first, it sounds like an odd and unusual name without any clear meaning. But as the story is developed and also after re-reading part of Clamp’s interview in Puff magazine on June 2003, its meaning is clearer. As Tsubasa stands for wings, Reservoir means storage and Chronicle designates a record, we can come up with the more straight-forward title "The storage of feather memories" which is nothing else than Sakura’s body!

What REALLY happened ...

Here is an outline of my general understand of Tsubasa. I have already posted the bulk part of it in the thread “Chapter 190”, but after reading Syaoran Jr’s theory and after finding other interesting details in previous chapters, I have decided to post the following in a new thread. Please note that the paragraph “From Clow to CCS dimension” are ideas of Syaoran Jr of the forum http://tsubasaforum.1.forumsvibe.com/.

What really happened...

Here is what I think really happened:

"Shaoran" went to Yuuko's shop to travel the dimensions in order to reach Clow country. There, he met Sakura 7 days before her seventh birthday. He also met Sakura's mother, Nadeshiko, and Sakura's father, Fujitaka. Then, time went by.

Once, "Shaoran" realized Sakura was in great danger. Maybe that is when the tube scene happened: Fei Wang has Sakura's soul inside the tube and, by trying to make his wish come true, he kills Sakura's body. Her soul can not survive without the body, so wings grow on her back and she leaves the tube. If that is true, this scene was really experienced by "Shaoran" BEFORE chapter 1.

"Shaoran" wanted to change Sakura's fatality so he asked Yuuko to rewind his time in exchange of a price, his time and freedom.

Fei Wang Reed, knowing that "Shaoran" now knew of his evil plan ("Shaoran" actually saw something bad happen, but went back in the past to change that), captured him (time and freedom) and created a clone of "Shaoran".

But the rewinding of time might have created a glitch in the space-time continuum which change the past. This would explain why clone Shaoran, being 7, first meets Fujitaka (who is not the king in this new past), then Sakura, and finally Sakura's father, Clow.

So Nadeshiko and Fujitaka really are the true-original-initial-intended parents of Sakura.

As for "Shaoran", his origins are still fuzzy. But since he speaks the same language as Sakura in Clow country, since symmetry implies a soulmate counterpart of CCS Shaoran in Clow country, and since he seems in love with Sakura, my guess is that his real origins are also in Clow country or Clow country dimension. Maybe Fei Wang Reed is his father after all... they both stop at nothing, right? Father and son fighting each other...

(Although, it is true that Yuuko can communicate with people from Clow country but by Mokona intermediate. So how did Yuuko and small "Shaoran" communicate with each other? I guess, either one must have a communication power.)

Long live to time travels, paradoxes and CLAMP !!!

Card Captor Sakura VS Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: DÉJÀ-VU PART VII

WOW! I read chapter 189 spoilers on the forum http://tsubasaforum.1.forumsvibe.com/ ! Thank you Yami Sakura! Each time I read Tsubasa spoilers, I am so confused and I want so badly the answers on how the story will end, that each time I promise myself to stop reading and torturing myself until the complete story is published in magazines and posted on the internet... But each week, I am always too tempted and, each week, I read the spoilers!!! Let's face it: I am completely totally addicted. Any of you feel the same way?

I have a felling since a few months, I think that the last Tsubasa chapter will be published on Wednesday, April 1st 2009. (Isn’t that cool that the next April 1st will fall on a Wednesday? Coincidence? I think not :p ) This would mean another year before reading the end on internet and almost 3 years before the mangas are published in French (and English)!!!

Anyway, here is probably my last CCS VS TRC déjà-vu for a while. It is not astonishing, but I would still like to post it and share it with you :)

>> Card Captor Sakura VS Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: DÉJÀ-VU PART VII <<

Shaoran's in on every regular TRC cover, just like Sakura is on every CCS cover.

Both see ghosts, CC Sakura is afraid of them, TRC Sakura, who is older, is not afraid and sometimes even consider them as friends or guides.

In both stories, a cute running gag is that Touya, so protective and carring for his sister, is quite annoyed by Shaoran because Touya glimpses that Sakura and Syaoran are most probably meant to be together.

Shaoran's cross-dressing in CCS, where he played the role of sleeping beauty in a play, is repeated in Tsubasa when he stays with the performing Troupe.

Sakura in CCS is herself dressed as a prince for the play. In TRC, we could say that her outfit in Tokyo (when she seeks for the magic egg) is somewhat warrior.

Finally, here is are two pictures that are quite analogous in many ways: we have both Sakura daydreaming at the window by a rainy day.
